President, Chief Investment Officer Mr. Pletcher holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. After beginning his professional career as a Consulting Engineer in 1980, Mr. Pletcher became interested in Investment Management while attending graduate school at Arizona State University. He entered the financial industry in 1982, becoming an Investment Consultant and Portfolio Manager with Dean Witter and later Shearson Lehman. He formed Concord Investment Counsel in 1991. Mr. Pletcher’s knowledge of investment management, equity research, and economic trends is highly regarded in the Southern California business community. He is a regular speaker with management groups of major corporations throughout California.
Equity Analyst Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania. A former member of the Pacific Exchange with 10 years of
experience in the securities industry, Mr. Thomas previously worked as a
professional market maker on the options floor in
Financial Advisor Ms. Pletcher holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. Ms. Pletcher entered the financial industry in 1984 as a Trust Officer for Bank of America. In 1989, Ms. Pletcher joined Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Company where she managed the trust department in their Newport Beach office. In 1993 she joined U.S. Trust Company as a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer where she helped establish a de novo office in Costa Mesa and manage the trust department.
Financial Advisor Mr. Buccowich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and is a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner. Beginning his financial career with Morgan Stanley in 1996, he joined Concord Investment Counsel in 2005. Mr. Buccowich employs the principles of financial planning to evaluate each investor’s goals and implement the right strategies to achieve them. Cultivating success over the long term, his work focuses on managing risk, adapting to changes, measuring results, and monitoring progress. He is a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and serves on the boards of two non-profit corporations.
Investment Consultant, Portfolio Administrator Mr. Gajewski holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Douglas College, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His career has spanned diverse roles from the technically focused to the client-centered, with experience as Technical Analyst at University Hospital in Vancouver for 7 years and as owner of his own computer consulting business for 16 years. His unique background as a, problem-solving technician, businessman and European provides a pragmatic and balanced perspective for investors in global capital markets. At Concord, Mr. Gajewski serves as a Investment Consultant and is responsible for the Institutional Investment channel of the firm. George is a lifelong tennis player, skier and snowboarder. |
